Well, I'm in Australia, but sometimes look more Italy than home. My husband's family is Italian, and they have more tradition than mine. Australian recipes, hard to say, here you can find everything, but I think they have a lot of English food, but now they are mixing all the food. You can find Asian ingredients in Italian's food too, anything goes. About the weather, here in Melbourne can be anything, at the moment it's summer, but today the temperature only reached 17. At least it feels a bit more like Christmas.

It's a great opportunity to both practice English and share recipes: my grandparents were from USA and so in my family English is like a second language (only, learned by speaking, so grammar is a little leaking here... )
Anyways, it will be great to chat with all of you; it will also give me the opportunity to share recipes with my U.S. friends, to whom I'll certainly forward this URL.

well, I am glad that we all can write posts and brand new threads in our favourite language!!even though it doesn't concern only the english one (I speak german french,,,and of course italian)! I do love writing speaking (communicate in general) using foreing languages, so it's very nice to you to allow me of doing it!

that's pretty awesome as i consider english my 1st language - my mom's american and i was born and raised in Boston.. sometime it's just easier for me to write in english instead of italian

Hi guys!!!

i didn't notice there was an english part in this forum.. it's really a great id and now i have the chance to speak and improve my english eve if i live in Dublin. Well, i work with irish people and usually i speak "irish" at work and i don't have so many chances to speak outside of it 'cause here it's very hard make friend with someone, i mean with someone irish.

so, i will very happy to speak and shere my recipes with you all!!!
